I'm thinking about buying the 19" Axis Se7ens but Im worried that these rims would adversely affect the geometry of the suspention, any opinions?

you need lightweight ones that will be give/take the same size as stock to prevent any losses...

if those 19s r heavy(which they proly r)...yes it will slow u down some. my 17s r 17 pounds a piece which isnt bad. my suggestion would be getting a rim tht isnt over 20 pounds otherwise u will proly feel a difference

19x8" axis se7ens weigh about 24lbs or maybe more. Very heavy and it will slow you down.

Motegi trak lite 19" i think are 18lbs and the 17"s are 15"lbs.

pretty light for 19"s

Man, it's all for show anyway, unless you plan on regulary racing your Solara. If that's the case, you should have a set of lightweight racing rims and cruzing rims. I got 19x8.5, because I wanted that for cruzing around town and besides it looks hella better. 8)

You'll only feel the difference if you race other cars. Other than that those rims are nice. Did you look at the Axis Mod Sevens? Its the same wheel except it has a fatty lip. 8)
