99-01 Tail lights?

are these toyota OEM 99-01 Tail lights?.....

or are these a generic brand that probably aren't sealed correctly?

shouldnt matter much because the auction's over
but yeah, pretty sure they're toyota
i dont think any company would make a replica of them...

Don't worry they'll be back. Eventually they'll be as common as the clear corners. They are "EXCELLENT OEM QUALITY" basically a cheap aftermarketer made a replica of the toyota design

haha thanx richard,

i think i might go pick them up from him this break too. how much did he sell them to u for? does anybody else want a set so that i can work out a good deal for us?

i brought it on ebay for 69 but when i went there he sold it to me for 65

Were they real? His wording sounded like they were 3rd party parts. OEM lenses like those will come in boxes that have Toyota labeled all over them. Not to bash, just curious about the quality and fit.

I went to oem-car-parts.com and got them for 109 each. That was for the whole assembly which includes the lenses, bulbs, sockets, wiring harness and gasket. It's an easy r/r job when you buy it like that or you'll be doing a little extra work. I believe that site directed me to Mckinney Dodge in Texas. They were excellent.

thanx....hey vampire did u have n e problems with condensation???

if n e body is still interested in the 99-01 lights let me know. i think they guy said he'll hook it up between 40-50 as long as i get a couple more people. The only problem is richard got these and he said they did get a little water in them when he washed his car. so i'm guessing maybe if we jus reseal them they might be ok.

No, the 99-01 tails I purchased in my post are genuine Toyota parts. They came to me in the unopened Toyota parts box.

they were actually oem tail lights... i asked the guy how he gets them and he told me they buy discounted items for cheap and sell them out.
so i was like uhh.. ok

as long i got them cheap
