DIY Grounding Wires

i'm sure this has been discussed before but when searching all i could find is information about wiring up audio systems...

basically i need to know how much 8 gauge wire i need to buy and where the terminals should end up...

if a previous thread about this can be easily dug up please lemme know :wink:

You could have just hit me up for that man. . . but anyways you should be grounding the chasis, motor, and transmission

id spend the extra and go with atleast 6 if not 4

Alex, remember you got to look at the wires too because if you get the wires with thick strands it's not as good as the wires with hair like strands. . . The more strands and more times the wires twist around the better the electrical flow is

i heard that 8g is best in terms of current capacity combined with speed, the thicker the wire the slower the current...???

My HKS came with 10ft and I used all of it. . . you be surprise how fast that gets used up

I have one ready for V6, if you have one.
All Lightning Audio 8 gauge to replace the small OEM ground wire.
And a 4 gauge from the post to the under the battery tray.
Then all i need is 0/1 gauge from the post to the tranny.
And Rockford Fosgate neg post clamp then the kit be done.
If you want it then PM; want a serious buyer though.
I have all the measurements of all the OEM ground wire for the V6.
The only wire not replaced is the one from the engine block to the driver front shock.
