Tonight we yanked the wheels off my solara and it seems that enough air got into the splash shield area that it popped the inside clip out and caused the shield to rub the tire making a nice hole in it. heh, anyone ever have this happen? I took the other one off and then screwed the shield down to the clamp but left the clamp on the other side of the bracket so it cannot come loose again.

hehe, I do around here. It snows like mad and would make a huge mess of things. Got another off a dead solara I have but found it interesting that they could pop off that easy. Ill take pics of them and how it happened. May be of use to someone to avoid it.
