Leather seat repair
Hey all,
The leather seats seem to have two layers, the shiny top layer, and a tougher bottom layer that the top layer sticks to.
Anyway, a tiny portion (about the size of a pinky's fingernail, smaller even) of the top layer has peeled back. One side of the peel is still stuck to the seat. The bottom layer of the seat is still intact. Its such small damage that I really don't want to pay $200 to have the entire panel replaced.
I suppose its possible to glue it down, but am not sure what I should use. I'm thinking of using contact cement because it dries softer than most glues.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
