Vertical Doors

i know that this thread has been up a couple of time and that some people wants to get the vertical doors but end up not going thru wit it. so i talked to my friend at vertical door and he said that if anyone wants to get the vertical doors for their solara it will be $1700 installed for the UNIVERSAL KIT modified to fit on. now if people are still interested in the bolt on kit he made a deal that if we get 5 people at $1500 he will start it. if you have any questions let me know

But I heard, with ANY vertical door conversion for Gen 1 Solara's.... Our doors are too close to the fender or something, and most likely needed welding and cutting. =(

where u getting the kit's from mark ??? i know other places too that are selling it for $500 but hows the quality ??? lifetime warranty on the hinges ??? i dunno .. itz up to whoever that wants to get it. remember u get for what u pay for. -= P

not to knock this, but I have a friend that makes vertical door for a couple applications, does not resell them, just for friends. He told me it costs him $44.00 in materials to make his door kits, and they go vertical and out. Most times he installs them in 2 hours. Does not have to take the door off the car to install so the doors will always line up. So $1,500 for doors is a little steep

he makes there per car and does not sell them to the public. He makes them one at a time per car. Not a universal thing. I will ask him about it though!

where is he located? east coast? prolly not cuz all you west coasters get the good stuff!!!!!!!and do get us his name and number he can make a boatload of cash!!!!!!!!
