The ones behind the buttons AC and rear defrost are these removable screw bulbs. For the solaras with the push button recirculate, that bulb is hardwired in and not removable as far as I know. I dont believe the screw bulbs are standard and therefore not replaceable. (its three screw bulbs, one green for the AC button, one for the green in the defrost button, and one orange one for the toggle light on the defrost button).

I actually broke my AC button screw bulb trying to replace it and dont know where to find a replacement. These bulbs are smaller than the 2721/74s that are used for the rest of the HVAC cluster, but the terminals of the lights lay right onto the bottom, so they should be replacable with any flat bottom untailed mini-mini bulbs. As to where to find such a thing, I have no idea. I might have to go to toyota and see how much they charge me for a little screwbulb and cringe when they tell me. I think youll need to sharpie or paint these to change the color.

I believe it is - 31mm type 3175 bulb
Also known as DE3175 (according to Sylvania's Website)

Thank you for the eBay tip. I didn't think they'd have it.
I'm going to get an order from autolumination for the goods.

best wishes.

eBay does have Solara dome lights, I saw them on there last week, but the shipping prices they try to pull you in on are ridiculous.

So did you ever fix the burn't dash/fuse problem, Hsakuragi? I'm wanting to go to LED's but not if it'll burn out anything... should I stick with colored incandescents, and what brand?

Also, does anyone know if the 5 LED wide-angle ones (see below) will fit into the dash or anywhere else? look like they'd spread the light out better but I don't know if that'd fit in the old socket.

What's the best type to use in the dash? (inverted, focused, wide angle, etc)?

http://autolumination.com/194.htm

Thanks guys... trying to get this going but all the info I've read jsut confused me even more :P. =
