Window vent shades

Window vent shades

Postby Jetfixer » Thu Jul 28, 2005 10:20 am

Anyone here put those vent shades on your windows? I can't decide whether or not to try them. I realize some people would object to the look of them, but I'd like to be able to vent the interior. The only ones I can find use tape to stick them on. Nobody stocks them for a solara, and if I special order them, I might be stuck with them. If anyone can email me a picture of them on their car, I'd appreciate it.

but i think they would look good. I asked this question a while back as well...

I've ordered them for my camry this week (from summitracing.com). After a little research i found out that VentShade (a brand) is prob the best in the market and their prices were cheaper than the rest (yes even toyotaparts4u)...

You apply the 3m take to the weatherstripping portion, not the frame of the door (or window).

its short so u can open the door while windows are up... that should answer your question.. which means, not that much use for rain... helps but not much

$56 is way too steep. Autozone and Advance Auto have them for $39. Either store tells me thay can have them overnight. I'm not really sure I want ones that stick to the trim strip, though. I was hoping there were others that would attach differently somehow...
