Autosport Wiring Harness for 4th Gen Camry/1-1.5 Gen Solara

I found this on the net and could someone confirm that a 98 Camry wiring harness will work with 1-1.5 Gen Solara ECU? I asked the owner of the company if the application was for a V6 98 Camry but haven't heard back from him yet. I think it would work with a 1st Gen Solara V6 but I may be wrong.

Rizal, make sure you ask if it is a 4 plug ECU or 5. I'm not sure what years and models used which but I do know of those 2.

Actually as I was typing this, I went ahead and sent them an email asking them. Maybe I'll just buy 1 and see  . You never know when it might come in handy! -JoeB

I just got the following reply from them:

HI Joe,

The harness listed on the website is for a 4 cyl. car which has 4 plugs. I
now see that the V6 cars used a 5 plug version. I can make that as well, it
cost $10 more. $199.00 vs. $189

I asked Richard if there would be a price break for ordering multiple. He said if we had 5 orders, he'd sell them for $150 + shipping. -JoeB

Just so I'm crystal clear. This would allow plug and play connections for piggy back computers versus cutting wires. Correct ?

Correct.

Joe....

I got an email back from him and he asked if he can get a pic of the ECU plugs. Something about he need to verify that the Solara's V6 ECU is a 5 plug connector as supposed to a 4. I unfortunately don't have my car yet. Any chance you can help? :(

I sent him a diagram of the ECU and the pinouts and he said it is a match. I am going to go ahead and order 1. I asked him to make sure yours gets done first since you have a project looking for a harness and I'll have a harness looking for a project. -JoeB
