Where is the post talking about how to make your sunroof open with one touch? I think it was Josh's post. Can someone help find or talk about it now?

i think josh had the mod where you could close and open the sunroof after you turn the car off but still have the key in the ignition, you know, you only have like 15 seconds after you cant use the window switches and sunroof switch.... he made it so you can open and close it no matter wat.... correct me if im wrong thgouh...

The moonroof is 1 touch operation stock. Proper operation is that if you just touch it for a second, it will only open a little but if you just hold the button for like 2 seconds, it will open all the way. It's actually better that way in case you would only want it open a little, the other way you wouldn't be able to do that. -JoeB

Thanks guys. Let me clairify. It is for one touch to close. My sunroof opens with one touch but I have to keep my finger on it to close all the way and is anoying. I recall the operation being the same for the OEM Solara sunroofs and I have a 4runner now and looks identical in operation.

Yes. One touch to open but to close I have to hold it down until it is completly closed. Very anoying plus it stops halfway and I have to let go and hold it down once more till it is completly closed.

I am searching around the internet and still no luck finding a mod for this. There has got to be one somewhere.

Ok just to make sure I wasnt going crazy, I just tried it on my SE, and I also have an SLE V6 in my driveway, both 2000. I just tried it on both.

both are one touch open and close, on the moonroof. When open, you press it, hold it for about a second, and let go, and it closes all the way. I was thinking maybe they changed this from 99 to 2000, but Joe has a 99. Window is one touch OPEN only, and only on driver side, but moonroof id one touch open and close.
