How much did you pay for your Gen 1-1.5 Solara?

Purchased outright in Feb. 05, 36K miles on it, with a 4 year 100K mile no deductable warrenty (warrenty from AAA) for $8,000
I bought the car from a guy who was getting a divorce (the car was in his name, but was his wife's daily driver), and wanted to stick it to his wife. Had I not stumbled onto this car I would have bought a Volvo S60 R, or a Jaguar XJR.
I got a much better deal here as the car was dirt cheap, and gets twice the gas milage the Volvo does, (also I can use 87 octane with this, the other two require 91+)! I do wich I had the horsepower and cornering abilities the other two had though!
This price does not include all the TRD stuff though. I got the body kit on EBAY for $500, painted it for $300, STB, RSB, Short shift, Engine overhaul, Funky bracing under car etc. All that's left is Scionspeed T3/T4 turbo, Tein C/Overs and seat heaters from Jegs.com and the car should be livable.

I bought my car 5 years ago. I got hooked up on a 2000 SLE 8miles for $25,800 ordered with traction control only. I was originaly looking at the SE model because of the price. Decided on the SLE purchase because of the nice leather seats and the optional TC feature. The dealer was a friend of mine. I must say, it is way better than the GTP i had (fit and finish/ warrantee issues/ rattling, etc.).

The sticker price was $13,995 at the dealer, so I think I did damn good? I also didn't have to go far, it was from a dealer about 10 miles from my house.

originally listed for $6500, but coincidently the owner was a family friend so they bumped it down. Came with a smog check, brand new tires, new timing belt, and it look really really good.

I paid $7900 for my 1999 SLE V6 two years ago. It was in good shape, had around 95500 miles on it. At the credit union, the computer said it was worth almost $11000. I thought I got a pretty good deal, cause I didn't even have to talk them down to that price, its what they were asking! I also got 4.99% interest. The only things wrong were horribly mismatched tires(two cheapos, 1 pirelli, and one of the original michelins!) and a squeak that I figured out a year later was a worn belt. I traded up from a 1990 Geo Storm(it was free). Anyways, I LOVE my Solara, and have never regreted buying it.
