Tein SS Damper/Height Settings

In regards to my project beginnings from the suspension work first to the wheels then the engine bay. Anyone with Tein SS coilovers. Can you please tell me your suitable setitngs for daily driving and maybe a good street setup for handling corners? And perhaps track settings as well. I might be crazy to ever do such a thing with my car to bring it for a track run.

PS: I have mudguards on so I don't wanna be too crazy to lower the car to much that I hear a crack when I tackle a speed bump

I'm on Tein SS. You want the settings... I really just adjusted them till I found a sweet spot. I think the dampening is set one notch stiffer than minimum. The front ride height is pretty low while the rear is still pretty high.

I have mine set for 10 click (standard setting) in the front and 12 clicks in the rear. The Tein SS is stiffer than the TRD struts/ Eibach setup I use to have; however it rides much better as far as dampening goes. I dropped it 65mm mostly due to all the pot holes around here.

These setting worked for me as a daily driver. Hope it works out for you Bro.

I'm probably the first guy to have them installed... besides the test guy.

It took some time, but my front is set at 4 (4 clicks from maximum stiffness) and rear is set around 7 clicks from max with a TRD RSB on TRACK setting.

My car now oversteers into corners while understeering out... only because of the lame settings... but my car is starting to creek like a bitch! Too bad it's still fake oversteering =P

My height is currently below the suggested... I'm riding a 225/40R18 and the front has no gap when the car is loaded. It's about 1/2 a finger unloaded. The rear has a 1 finger gap unloaded. 1/2 finger if loaded w/ passengers. It bounces a lot more... since the spring isn't designed for it.

IMHO, The creeking is most likely coming from the rear sway-bar. The Marine grease applied to the bushings should solve this problem. Also check to see if the nuts and bolts are nice and tight.

I'm gonna set it to street setting when i have time... track is quite harsh w/ the dampening setting I'm on in the rear. If the handling dies, then I'll switch back.
