i had a AE86 GTS a while back and then i had 240sx, S14 and S13. i must say i will not go back to AE86 again.
S14> S13 > AE86

just like someone said, the reason is that AE86 is too old, everything broke easily (such as bolts) and part is hard to find. but it is one of the greatest car in the auto indurstry. 240sx is funner then AE86 because parts are cheaper and it has more torque (2.4L vs 1.6L). However, if you build it right, the ae86 could eat 240sx easily because of light weight.

i think your friend is asking for a reasonable price for that condition. it should sell quick.

real GTS had front mount oil cooler btw

$2500 for a converted SR5 is a little high... Even if it has what it has... Id give him like $1500 for it if he really wants to get rid of it. PM me if he wants to let it go for that much Id take it.

The guys that are selling their Hachirokus for $5,000 and up are all real deal GTS, not converts.
