creaking noise while steering at low speed
My car developed this odd creaking noise when I turn left or right pulling out of a driveway, parking spot, etc. Thought is was a CV joint going bad but its not a clicking sound, but instead a grinding, squeaking sound coming from both front upper strut mounts. I suspect the incompetent shop that did my tein/tokico install neglected to grease the bearing on the spring upper seat. I wouldnt be surprised if it was bone dry. These are the same winners that didnt cut the bumpstops when the tein instructions clearly said to do so.
This may be wishful thinking, but is there any way I can lube the bearing without removing and disassembling the entire front spring/strut assembly?
