i am in the proccess of designing a new grille and last night i was looking at my stocker and noticed all the rock chips in the black portion of the grill..underneath is chrome so it sticks out noticably when it gets chipped

so what i did was tape of the chrome , which is very easy to do because of the seam

and sprayed the black portion again..looks new again..takes about an hour and really helps the front of your car look new again if it is starting to get worn from road pebbles

just thought i would share that

three screws on top

then yopu need to pry up a tab on each bottom corner and pull and the grille will slide right out..

That chrome chipping seams to be a common problem. Mine did it as well.
