squeal (front passenger wheel)

squeal (front passenger wheel)

Before the flamin' starts - yes I did search. I found similar problems but not a solution ...

so I hit a curb last night with my front passenger tire(sorta hard at about say 5-8mph and actually went over) what to do but to drop it back down eh ?

Anyways so my buddy later that night notices a squeal/squeaking noise coming from the wheel that gets more and more frequent as we go faster.

This morning on my way to philly it seemed almost 10 times louder. So I took the tire out and rotated the rotor with my hands and yes that is precisely where its coming from but I just dont know what to do ?

Anybody has any suggestions ?

its like a small part of the brake caliper hitting the wheel because the noise occurs for a brief instant in one complete rotation. it becomes continuous when I go faster (frequency goes up)

Anybody have any suggestions ? please? I know little about cars - but with a proper tutorial I am willing to try anything.

Please help ?

Thank you for everybodys help.

It seemed like the audible brake sensor. So I got myself a haynes manual, took the brake assembly apart, fixed the sensor and put it back in again.

voila - noise is gone.
