Could Hub bearing be issues on all solara?

Could Hub bearing be issues on all solara?

Hello there... Well making the story short as possible... I have two solaras as many of you know. a 2000 SE 5 speed and a 2001 SE automatic. Both are V6 and low miles and never abused...

Well Few months back the hub assembly on the back passenger side gaved up and was knocking hard. I assume it was the bearing inside died and shakes when I drive. I got that replaced with a new OEM one.. Well my dad left out of state on business so Im driving his car for the next few days and notice his car is doing the same thing.. But when I asked my dad he told me its been like that for awhile now.. Could this be happening to anyone else? Could it be some issues with all the solaras? This is what it looks like behind the back wheel.. I have the rear disk brake with the drum internal brake solara..

So I guess no one had this issue... Would there be any warrantee for this if I take it into the dealership? The car only has 44K miles on it...

I have two good one at home only used 30000 miles, along with drum brakes and lower suspension arms, brake line, and hand brake cable. $100 take it, local pick up only. too big and too heavy to ship.

as i understand it, the rear wheel bearings are attached to the hub. or somethign like that. that's why the front bearings are 60 bucks and the rear ones are ~$300+

My drivers side rear hub went bad, but that was only because I slid into a curb this past winter.

Are you talking about when your driving a long and you hear your wheel squeak a bit? Cause in my car especially when i go under bridges or pass parked cars where the noise reflects off everything, I can hear a faint squeaking noise. It only happens when the car is moving and not breaking. I had my mechanic look at it and he said nothing was wrong. But the noise comes from the passenger rear. I haven't done anything about it cause of what my mechanic said but it still bothers me and i think something could be wrong. So i may have this problem.

I have a CONTSTANT squeak form back there... it sounds like air whistling out a tiny hole, but the dealership told me it was a suspension squeak noise, and wanted $100 to look at it - think it's related to this? Or is this a deep/knocking sound? Pff, car drives fine, I just turn the music up so I can't hear it ;).

It's not a squeaking sound. If it goes bad, you'll know it. It's a loud growling sound, worse the faster you go.
