Failure light on...

Failure light on...

Postby Deion » Fri Aug 12, 2005 1:36 am

A light on my dash came on, according to the manual I have for a 1999, it says its a "Rear light failure warning light".

I have a 2000, if that makes any difference.

It only comes on when my headlights are on, but not right away. It's usually after a while of driving around. I did change my turning signals to those Titanium covered bulbs on both the front and back if that makes any difference. But when I turn all my lights on (turning) they all work fine. All the lights in the rear light up ok, warning lights... everything! Except for a few LED bulbs on the spoiler don't light up when I'm on the brakes, other than that everything looks ok to me.

I also lowered my car 2.0" and I the ride is rougher, would that have anything to do with it?

Any suggestions?

the LED bulbs should last longer than the car itself.. I had mine go out a few thousand miles ago from my subs, but they turned back on.. I think that LED strip is like $450 from the factory
Parting out my car!!! great upgrades for sale!

lol yeah for a LED strip I should just pick up that carbon trunk and get the spoiler too!

HID sounds fun, but to ship to Canada always added and extra 100-200 because border and duties... etc. Wish I was around you guys!
