So these bushings will basicly do what greg said? We'll notice a more promt engine response and what not? That would help an immense amount I'm sure. Anything to improve on the whole unfortunate "are you sure you want to go?" additude of the AT on the Solara is an amazing advancement.

This will help in not letting the engine move but for the response in an automatic. . . either get a manual swap or go to IPT or Level 10 to get a torque converter and valve body adjustment

I guess I was thinking with restricted gnine movement would come a smoother power transfer to the wheels maybe making a better response. So with that restricted engine movement, what am I getting besides just that?

Yeah you won't waste energy when you accel and brake.

So far i have 1 of the 2 bushings in.
F-ed up the big stock one and had to saw it off to be able to stick the poly one in.
Very hard, now got to do the smaller one.
The response when accel is better.

I just tried to order mine and they're out of stock.

Didn't they say due to lack or response they wouldn't do the rear engine mount?

To me, out of stock means there was a response.

I hope they do at least another run of these so I can get my hands on them. With any luck this was enough response for them to continue their sales of the Dogbone bushings and push for the rear engine mount as well. I e-mailed Glenn, I suppose he'll get back to me tomorrow.

I was figuring they aren't open on sundays anyhow. So I'll see if Glenn contacts me tomorrow, and then if not I'll give them a ringy-dingy.

Dang, I read these posts and thought this was just for automatics? I have a Solara 5 sp-manual, can someone confirm what bushings or SuperPro bushings are supposed to apply to manuals.

Even if they did the rear mount, I thought that was for automatics too.
