Guess what the Lexus IS300 uses? Potenza RE92....
Guess what the Lexus ES330 uses? Potenza RE92....
The Celica, Camry, Gen2 Solara (on 16s only), and the entire Scion line uses them too. Subys, Hondas, and Nissans (Even the almighty G35 Coupe) have them as OEM too.

Alot of cars use these RE92s as stock, and I cant imagine why...Bridgestone must be giving them away at really low cost...

I think the reason you see Turanzas on some Lexus's is the wretched RE92s dont come in the size they need for the larger lexus's wheels. Thats why they come on the Solara Gen2 17s

I had the Potenza's that came stock from dealer. not sure if its RE92. (never looked into it)

But, from MY experience, they suck SO BAD.
They wore out so fast. (Tread Wear rated at 160??)
When cornering, they squeel like I was in a race car, and in the snow... honestly... they felt really cruddy.

I got Michelins "Agility X" (Awsome tread wear, less noise. Cornering, eh, haven't really cornered hard lately, so I dunno.)

Potenza's I had: 5 outta 10
Mich Agility X now: 8 outta 10

If I had bigger rims, I'm sure be better scores
I'm kinda a noob~

Potenzas came with mine when I bought it new. They didn't even last 20K. I've had Yokohama's since, two sets of H4s, and now currently have H4Ss on them.
