*I AM REPOSTING THIS SO JUST INCASE NO ONE READS THE REAR ENGINE MOUNT POSTING*

I just got off the phone with Glenn and yeah they really aren't happy with the sales of the dogbone. . . He told me Greg had a list of like 20-25 people and when they came out with it. . . he has only sold 4 sets. . . He has one left because SuperPro sent him 5 sets and he got 45 more sets to come. . . For right now he said there are two ways we can go about making this project work. . . 1. Get a whole lot of people to buy the dogbone bushing so they are happy and willing to make the rear mount. . . or. . . 2. Get someone to coordiante this by purchasing all of Rear engine mounts than distributing them to the people who wanted one. . . Glenn also mentioned that they don't do deposits for anything so basically we have to accomplish either one of the choices he gave us. . . than we can get this going but as far as it looks they won't have any plans for making more parts for us. . . I was shock to know I was the first one to make the call in considering to put a deposit down for the rear engine mount. . . man this is really disappointing. . . What happen to all those people that were interested in the dogbone?. . . :-?

I just got my dogbone, front lower control arm, steering rack mount, and rear trailing arm's bushings install. . . man the difference is like day and night. . . the stock OEM crap really was too soft. . . the minute I made my first quick turn I noticed how the car is much stiffer on turns and the acceleration feels better. . . With steering rack mount changed it made my squeaking noise go away when I return the wheel after make u-turns. . . Changing the rear trailing arm bushings it made my rear driver side strut not make a rubbing noise when I go over bumpy roads. . . This is awesome but pricey on the labor but seeing how they had to do it so I'm not surprise by how much it cost. . . overall. . . I love these new bushings :D

yeah dude, i just liked how one of the members said, "i hate how the v6 says "are you sure you wanna go? are you sure? then the engine goes" when i floor it. i just need somebody to give me the "ok" in terms of being able to use this application for the 03 even though it has been mentioned that it will fit up to the 12-02 solara v6. asdklfjklasdfjlasdk SOMEBODY!?!??!

UPDATE: screw it, i just got off the phone with glenn right now, really nice guy. he said i could order the dogbone, if it doesnt fit, he will allow me to send it back for a full refund.keep in mind that my car is an 03 AT and his catalog only goes up to 02. he said, and mark my words, " we are dissapointed in the sales, but hopefully it will turn around." these people are VERY nice, and are willing to cater to our needs to a certain point. you guys are letting go a VERY good deal. all four items that samson bought totals out to be $168.XX. which are the dogbone, front lower control arm, steering rack mount, and rear trailing arm bushings. and by the way samson says "the difference is like day and night" i really dont think you guys should let this kind of deal go away. furthermore, its dissapointing to say, but i ordered the last dogbone of the first set of 5 that glenn had.

After seeing what the Dog bone bushings have done for me I am convinced that we need to get the ball rolling on the rear motor mount.. the mount is AMAZING!!! Made throttle responce change a huge amount... Made everything stiffer upfront and makes me want to get a rear motor mount started ASAP!

Also a front motor mount as well

I'm not necessarily active on this board; however, I did have money set aside for everything StockSolara had purchased. I just haven't had the chance to order it. Once I did, they were out of stock of the dog bone bushings... =(

I should give Glenn a call tomorrow for my 99 V6..

sorry late2wake, if you havent read earlier posts, stock solara said that the only way that SG can get these dogbones is if we have one person buy ALL of the remaining 45 dogbones and distribute them. either than that, we are kinda screwed. we just need to get all the "talk" on this forum and turn it into actions. for the most part, we havent done so with these dogbones. but iguess it takes a few brave fellow SG guys to "explore the new frontier" before everyone elese jumps along the boat. i dont know..still waiting for my dogbone, but i sure as hell am ready for the install.

Sorry to be a pain here.. but to everone who is thinking about doing this mount.. its really not that bad of an install.. I actually pulled my dogbone out of my car in 5min.. and noticed that the bushings themselfs were shot and breaking apart...

Just to see this deal go through I would be willing to replace peoples bushing for them if they sent the mounts to my house... its not that bad and I want to see this go threw... I want to eventually get the rear engine mount going as well as a front engine mount (not the mount that the torque rod replaced, but the other huge hydrolic one) as well as a transmission mount.. these need to be replaced.. they are so soft its sickining
