Yea if we cant get AT LEAST a total of 8 cars by this weekend then we'll have to push it 4 later on. I mean... there can't just be only 5-7 SolaraGuys in Florida.

aside from the attendance problem... if this meet occurs on the 3rd, can I bring sum friends who dont have Solaras?

HEY! Sorry I missed this thread I've been hella busy, I'll be there. It'll be good to finally meet you guys. The only meets I've been to were ToyotaRevolutions. I'll see what they are up to.

I see a few people around my area that are young and probably don't know about SG. I never get the chance to get next to them and holla.

Any ideas on where we are gonna grab some grub? What about after?

I vote for a pushback. I think you're right. With school starting and here's a flippin hurricane (I'll be it's a weak one) to complicate things. I say push it back a while. I don't know how long, but I say we make a new date, and maybe a little more time to get more cars, and then we do it no matter what as long as whoever says they'll go is committed. Like I've said before the target would be 7-8 cars, but oh well if we can't get it for the next date then we'll just go with what we got.

So what's a good reschedule date? October 1st is a Saturday and it would give us plenty of time to get more people. And we could lock this thread and starta new one so people will pay attention cause I think some peopel may think this whole thing is dead anyhow?

Yea a push back would be fine... i think what we should do, since school seems to be a problem for ppl is fine out when the next 3-4 day weekend is after Labor Day that way ppl have more time and dont have to worry about school. Also if a strictly Solara meet with minimum 8 cars is not possible b/c ppl arent interested, do u think we should try a Solara/Celica and Maybe tC meet?

You know, ToyotaRevolution is having a meet on the 10th at Busch Gardens. Anyone down for that? They have around 6 people now and once we let them know we are joining the list would just blow up.

Regardless I think everyone should confirm one of these weekends are good since this thread is sketchy and old ya know.

It'll probably early morning for that one. I personally don't like the place but if everyone is there then it's all good.

EDIT: The only thing about that is, the park closes at 7 so those in school that day it won't work out. I say we setup something in Orlando in the afternoon like original, also there may be TR guys that would meet up after they are done there or something. Who knows

I wasn't planning on going to like a theme park and crap but that's cool too.

I say maybe whoever wants to can tag along on TR's deal, and then we'll have our own deal end of sept/beginning of October, and since it's hard to get dates I'm throwing October 1st out there. Again, Yay? Nay?

That way bassthrive can come, and now with Solaraguy22 down, there's I think 7 cars, I knowa kid who might be going. And that new girl from UF said later on maybe so if all those peopel come that's almost 10 cars.

As far as inviting other cars I think Camry would be out because our own event would get kinda squashed because they outnumber us. I woulnd't mind some 4 banger celicas and tCs I guess, although there's always HIN coming to Miami in December where there will be all the different cars in the world. I just want a goddamn picture of all the Florida Solaras line dup and lookin good cause we don't rep FL enough. I seriously never really noticed another Florida Solara on here for a while afte rI joined up, and that's kinda sad. I never paid a LOT of attention or anything, but we DO exist and we DO share a common interest so we SHOULD get together and it SHOULD be more than 5 cars, it SHOULD be all the Florida Solaras, am I right?

With all that said. I say we shoot for October 1st if it's good with everyone else. We also try and get more cars signed up. Start a new thread with a date time and place in it. Keep a list up top, and make sure it's going to happen and the people who say they'll come do come. Before making that I think we should make sure that date isn't out of the question with people, but then I say it's on cause I really want to do this.

With any luck this extra time might be long enough for me to get my new wheels as well .
