Okay, so it's not really a "mod" in the way that any serious person would consider it, but I did change out my headlights for Sylvania Silverstars! It was awesome, I got all greasy, and there were moments of danger and drama, and I got cuts and scrapes on my hands (using gloves next time, fo' shiz), and it started raining (hard) 3 minutes after I finished, which would have screwed it up, I think.

So... anyway... I am victorious. Yay.

Since your a newb, I'll ask...Did ya touch the bulb itself w/out gloves on? If so, get ready to re-"mod". Any of that grease ya got into or even the oils on your fingers will cause your bulbs to blow in record time.

Just looking out. Other than that, grab a :drinking:

One of the few mods that has a how-to in the manual. :)

I had to take out my battery. My hands could not squeeze between on the drivers side bulb.

Yep I agree with djsaltine. Be wery, wery careful. :)

Here's the trick. If you get grease on the bulbs, the bulbs should be cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Just use a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol to clean the glass surface area of the bulb. Also, let the alcohol dry off (it dries with in 2 minutes). After all this is complete, the bulbs will be ready to install.

Hey, yeah, I actually did know that grease thing, and I didn't touch 'em! Yay for me!

And the lack of space between the battery and the bulb housing was, sadly, the source of all my problems. I got past it though, using basically my fingertips, haha.

I need to know where that sign is.

I see one sign for the Garden State Parkway which runs through jersey so I'm thinking its were the GSP hits the NY thruway...Ive been there before (on the way to a really trashy club that I'm never going back to...all you North Jersians know EXACTLY which club I'm talkin about) and I dont remember ever seeing that sign.

EDIT - I think I found it....I think its on Rt-59 west of....this

And that sign didnt even mention Rt-17 which is that road on the left. I'll hunt it down one day, its about a half hour from my house.
