SuperPro Polyurethane Dogbone Bushings UPDATE Pics Added #2

Sp33d wrote:sorry late2wake, if you havent read earlier posts, stock solara said that the only way that SG can get these dogbones is if we have one person buy ALL of the remaining 45 dogbones and distribute them. either than that, we are kinda screwed. we just need to get all the "talk" on this forum and turn it into actions. for the most part, we havent done so with these dogbones. but iguess it takes a few brave fellow SG guys to "explore the new frontier" before everyone elese jumps along the boat. i dont know..still waiting for my dogbone, but i sure as hell am ready for the install.

I didn't say that. . . I said that if they don't sell enough of the dogbone. . . some one will have to buy all of the REAR bushings and distribute them to the people who wanted them. . . stop spreading rumors. . . haha

This thread sooooo represents why nothing gets made for the Solara. How? -> Someone gets and idea and pursues it (in this case Greg), continues pursuing it because of the "support" expressed by everyone to the point where even a buy list is developed. Then when it is time to perform, people start dropping out like flies.

I wish the dogbone applied to the 5-speed manual because I would have gotten it. I guess I will go for the URD lightweight underdrive pulley next.

I think the only difference between the 5 speed design and the auto design would be the size of the larger bushing, which they have a 65mm one for the autos, and a 50mm one for the 5 speeds.. check and see how big the larger part is because im pretty sure they have one for the 5 speeds

^^^ Correct. . . Everyone just keep on calling about the bushings because like I said from a couple posts up Glenn only stocked 5 sets of bushings and he has 45 more coming from Super Pro at Austrailia. . . Just keep on making calls about it so he knows there are demands for them. . . Come on people we can make this happen!!!! :D

Gents- Can someone verify for me that my 98 Camry V6 auto will take the same dogbone/steering rack mount/front control arm/rear trailing arm and front and rear motor mounts as the solara. I probably should have done this earlier but priorities of the family man can pull me away. Is it better to call and speak with Glenn or to email him?????? Thanks all!!!
