its not the boost that determines it really.. its how much your fuel is upgraded.. cause the injectors/fuel should be done along w\ a MAF

can't upgrade the fuel w\o the Air
"Air/Fuel" Ratio
get it?

Thanks again Gabe and Joe! I have this installed and ready to go. Carlos Jr. is back from vacation and I'll let you know what the results are after Wednesday's dyno session.

This seems interesting. I've heard of people here upgrading their MAF sensor but I never knew how and this seems to be the answer.

Do you guys mind ellaborating a little more in the statement above? if i was to get this item, does it mean that I have to literally "cut" the extension?

oh and 1 more thing... do you guys only have a limited number of MAFs or can you pretty much put this kit together at anytime. I really want this, but i dont see myself being able to get it for a few months.

Yes, you have to cut 4.25" off the end of the cold air extension that goes towards the Injen Short Ram intake. The Supra TT MAF is an in-line unit. If you think about it, the cold air extension goes almost right up against the Injen short ram tube. The only way to get it in there is to cut some of the existing pipe out. The only other way would be to cut just a little off the Injen short ram (but connectors prohibit you from cutting too much) and you would still have to cut most off the cold air extension. This way, you can cut ONLY the extension rather than both. When you cut the extension, basically all you are doing is leaving just enough of the tube to connect the rubber coupler to before that part that bolts down.

The way I tested it before cutting anything was to run it just hanging off the end of the Injen Short Ram with no filter or anything. After I was cofortable it worked well, I cut the extension and finished the install.

As far as parts and availability, you need to talk to Gabe. I'm not selling these and not getting money for them, just giving to the community. 8) Gabe is the one putting out all the money to build the kits, that's even more service than I'm doing. It's easy to type up some instructions and do some research and testing, he's forking out real dollars. -JoeB

Joe you crazy, that's b/c you disconnected your ebc. Your going to break your tranny. I hope you aren't putting false expectation for those of us with only 6 lbs in our autos. J/K- we know you are running 9lbs. I can't wait to get the top end tuned solid. Nice Job with the install. Thanks for putting this together with another mastermind of power- Gabe. Looking forward to see the results of others. POST ALL FEEDBACK GENTS and get your orders in early. Gabe has done a great job with JB putting in the R&D on this kit.

Did you mean 247 I hope? Did you put it in yet? Do you do your own tuning or do you have the dyno place do it? Can you tell me how much the manual conversion cost ya? Pm if you prefer. Thanks~
