Oh so you have to slide it foward yourself? I read it in a review it says it memorizes the position and goes back into it.

I have manual seats and it slides forward when you pull on the release behind the seat in my car. I dunno about the powers seats though.

Power cant slide unless its automated since the rails are connected to the gears that power the seat

So no, in the 8 way seat, the driver side doesnt slide forward.

All your passengers should be getting on on the other side anyways

You slide the seat forward electrically. The memory part is for the angle you had the seatback set to.

Manual seats I think they do go forward.

The only automatic seats ive seen that go forward is in a G35 coupe, passenger side. And it goes forward on a motor and it does it really slowly and its pretty irritating, so im actually glad we only have power drivers seat. I think thats the best way you can do it in a coupe.

Yep, use the button on the left side of the seat that you use to move the seat forward and back, because you really can't 'slide' it.
