Pimp A$$ Cooling System

Well, I spent quite a bit of time today looking into this. The FLX-325R is application specific to the 99 Eclipse. The only difference between the FLX-325R that costs $369.95 at Summit Racing and the FLX-210R that costs $245.95 is that the 325 has brackets that fit the Eclipse for a direct bolt on and the wiring plugs right into their harness. As you might imagine, the harness is not the same for our car so it has to be cut off and the brackets don't work either. Maybe someone can find us a better price elsewhere  but for now, you are much better off getting the FLX-210R for $245.95 from Summit. It comes with universal mounting hardware which might work better and connectors that can be crimped on to the wires. Oh yeah... and it costs less :D .

I've been warned that those probes for the temperature adjustment typically leave leaking cooling systems. I think I'll look into controling my temp through the Greddy Ultimate EMS. I'm definitely getting the Flex-a-lite Fan though. For those wondering what the letters are at the end of the model number, they indicate the color:
FLX-210 = Black
FLX-210R = Red
FLX-210B = Blue
FLX-210Y = Yellow

If you have a stock or lightly modified vehicle, are there any practical benefits to being able to toss more heat to the wind?
