haha man good stuff. . . I wanted to do it myself but. . . I would have had a hell of a time taking the old bushings out and putting the new ones. . . since I don't have the tolls for it

To get the most out of this mod......install a supercharger!!!! It is designed to hold the motor in place better on heavy throttle.
This mod you would have noticed more from a motor that produces more torque and twist from the motor. Also your stock bushing only had 31k on it so was probably in decent shape.

^^ very true. but then again...this part wasnt made to produce earth shattering performance gains. if anything..it was made as a support for other MAJOR installs like you said. oh well..a nice 90 dollar upgrade..i guesss...

You were the guy that is putting the supercharger on the Avalon right?
If so yes- but obviously check with Glenn at Global b/c I doubt it would be the same for the avalon. Doesn't hurt to ask though.

I got my dogbone on and it makes the car feel more sturdy. I guess the engine doesn't move around as much.

I do have a problem though, I can sort of hear what sounds like a pulley (not the actual S/C boost pulley) turning a little bit. I think it is the little pulley that the dogbone bolts through. I used a larger washer on the outside of the large dogbone bushing to give it more security, but I am wondering if that is putting too much pressure against the pulley, thus causing it too rub. A visual inspection doesn't reveal that anything is out of line.

Thoughts?

don't know, you'll have to call the contact person...forgot his name, but he's really nice. I ordered every different set of polyurethane bushings he had for the solara and man...what a difference, like night and day. No more wheel hoping from peel-outs, you can just feel how tight it is in the corners and in the steering wheel itself.
