Yeah when i was goin' that fast at 130 i kept eyes on road more than speedo.
To a quick glance.
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o
Too many modifcations for the signature.

^^ Exactly, Is there a reson i can't go over 126mph? (its a 97 camry xle v6 w/ 1mzfe 4speed auto).

I also have hit the speed limiter several times. It's right at 137-138 as stated above. One thing for sure when you hit it you won't ever forget it.

Your motors wearing down. Its not young anymore haha. I doubt my car right now will be able to hit 130 clean fast as it use to be... But if you keep gunning it then eventually youll pass 126...It took me for ever to hit 135..

That's weird. I had no problem hitting 130 with the A/C running and the car loaded down with tools, a 3 ton jack, and luggage. How many miles are on your car?

80K...But then again I beginning to think my clutch is getting weak.. And I do push my car hard allot so I wouldnt blame it for not hitting pass 130..

Trust me, you'll know when it is governed. The ECU does a fuel cut and it is almost like something just broke in the car, definitely noticeable. If you are wondering if you've hit the limiter or not, you haven't. -JoeB
