I got my car back today from the shop. After some street tuning by the great Allen (Ufoz8mycow), man does it pull. The CPU freaked out at first with the new MAF, so I know you definately need the S-AFCII or some other piggyback for this badboy. :D Sadly, I can't hit the dyno yet, I need to upgrade my clutch before it goes out. Any recommendations? I know I'll probably need a stage 2 though. After talking with Allen and Gabe and based on what others achieved, we believe I should hit or be very close to 300 wheel hp, but we'll see. :P

This is what I got (for those who don't know):
5.5 pulley
URD Lightweight 1MZ Crankshaft Pulley
Supra TT MAF kit
Jim's fuel kit
Supra 330cc injectors
Walbro 190lph fuel pump
S-AFCII (black)
JPP y-pipe (for stock headers) - where's the Megan headers???
custom dual cat-back with 2 Magnaflow #14863 mufflers
Magnecor Wires
Denso Iridium IK22 plugs
TRD Thermostat
TRD Radiator cap
Koyo 2 row radiator

:D Allen, I hope we can hit the dyno together...because I wanna take care of your first run for all your help!!! :D

Im glad you are happy with it Larry. 8)

There arent too many tuners around here in SoCal that are proficient in S-AFC tuning, so I pride myself on being able to do a pretty good job of it just street tuning without a dyno. Cant wait to see what we can get it to do on the dyno!!!

Gotta admit though, I was a little worried when I was at the shop before you got there and we tried to fire it up and couldnt... Then firing it up and having it barely idle... Then barely driving... But slowly and surely it came around and by the end of the night it felt really responsive and smooth overall. Still needs some fine tuning on the dyno. That Supra MAF kit is pretty tight, Im not sure the stock would be able to hold up to all these mods.

Nope, 5.5 is plenty for me. Anything higher you run a high risk of blowing sensors/motor, I'm playing it safe. I really don't want to waste my money replacing anything and I don't plan on building the internals/bottom end. I believe anything close to 300 wheel hp is enough, that's been my goal all along. That's why I waited so long, luckily I did because I believe the new MAF is gonna do wonders on the dyno. Besides, when I finally get on the track (not 1/4 mile), it'll be plenty. :D

Man we have pretty much the same set up LOL except i got the 6psi and you got the headers .. .i just bought the ACT TY3-HDR6 from RJ (he gave me a heck of a deal, i'd suggest u give him a ring) from less of what is listed at the link below. I haven't had a chance to get it installed, but from what I hear, this is definitely a good buy.
