Worries me..I dont think its slipping though..I mean all my gear grabs...or it seems to..but then when i stall (like driving in one gear up to like 3 to 4K then release the gas pedel but not clutch..Like a way of slowing the car down using the gear) my gear i feel a tug like a bad automatic tranny would do when you nuetral drop gear too much after awhile.. Its that feeling when an automatic shift it tugs into its next gear... is this safe? I mean I feel all my gear grabbing.. I jsut feel that ping tug every now and then driving normally over small bumps (I guess the bump throws the car up alittle or something causeing force making the gear tug show more) or stalls...

Well That cluck sound that I mention in another topic kept on bothering me. I tooked it to a few shops and they I guess dont know wack about solara. Making excuses that they have to drive my car a day to know. But I notice all of them including a few members in here brought up about that cluck sound might not be the tranny at all (Since my gears arnt slipping at all and on hills it still grabs like new.) and that it might be my transmission mount..

How do I know my transmission mount is going bad sine its like a shock look a like so I cant see any rubber worns...

Also are those tranny mount things still for sale? I searched a new topic post about it being for sale but then Im getting like 3 different stories off it.. Can someone help me to one? I have paypal on stand by if its the tranny mount on my car thats going bad..

AKA torque rod...

I was told this thing could be bad...

Well I was just guessing about going ahead and getting them Torque rods that jim affair or what ever they call it been making... That is if mines really going bad.. Since I have money issues right now and will only spend money if its a must.

Anyone have a clue or know how a bad tranny mount feels or have had theirs replaced because it went bad?

What do you mean shift hard? Im 5 speed.. So Im guessing it depends how fast I release my clutch.. It feels normal when Im shifting.. But if Im in gear and I realease gas pedal then aply it again out of the blue, you can sorrtaa hear but you can definately feel a big hard " clunk" sound/feel from the tranny area in the engine bay...
