Revisiting springs and struts.

Im thinking of gettin eibachs for spring, How long would my stock struts last w/ the eibachs? Or should i just get the tokicos when i get my springs?

It's hard to say how long your stock struts will last with shorter, stiffer springs. A lot depends on your driving style and what shape the struts are in now. My recommendation would be to get the Tokicos, too, and install them at the same time you install the springs. Since you're going to have to replace your struts at some point, anyway, why not just do it all at once. If you'll be paying to have someone install them, you'll save yourself the double fee. If you'll be doing the intall yourself, you'll be saving yourself a lot of aggravation. Getting to the rear struts is a pain. In any case, why would you even want to drive around with a mismatched set of springs and struts? From a driving standpoint, you won't really get the full performance benefits.

well ill prolly end up ordering the struts and springs around march or so so ill have enuf money by then

dude, pls wait and get struts, i wish i waited, and i think when u get struts it'll be a lil lower, it killed my stock struts but then again i got 100k on my car

If I were to buy Eibachs spring could I use any make of struts? I always here Eibach with Tokicos, are they the only ones compatable with Eibachs?

No, there are other struts that will work fine with the Eibach Pro Kit springs. Tokicos just seem to be the strut that most people find to be a nice compromise of comfort and performance. Bilstein makes a great strut that is compatible with the Eibach. They used to make the TRD strut, although I don't think that's the case, anymore. It is a stiffer strut, so it will be better for performance purposes, but it gives a firmer ride than the Tokicos. It also is 2-3 times more expensive. You can also try KYB-II, which gives a softer ride than the Tokicos, almost like stock. There are other possibilities, as well. You can check out websites, such as shox.com or tirerack.com, to see other options.
