Weird Squeeking noise and vibrations

Postby Siren2387 » Tue Sep 20, 2005 11:33 pm

When i bought my car i noticed there was a weird vibration in the wheel when i breaked. The wheel whould vibrate a lot to the point where i let go and you could see it shaking. When this was happening last time my tire blew while driving on te high way, i have all new tires now and i dont want this happening again so is there something wrong w/ my car and can it be fixed easily? Once i got new tires the vibration went away but now its back again so im worried ts something serious. Also i reciently noticed that my car has been squeeking im not sure if its the timing belt b/c i was told it needs to be replaced but not for a little while or if its something else i can really hear it when the car idols. any ideas as to what this can be? Thanks alot for your help

Maybe rotors warped? Tires might need balancing.

^if it happens only when you brake, your rotors are warped... bring it to a brake shop and have the rotors resurfaced...

your pads may need replacing too if they are worn... usually you have these done together so it doesnt eat away at each other again which would bring u back to square one

when it comes to your steering wheel shaking as you get upto a certain speed then its within balancing your wheels.
Retired... its been fun Image
