Heated Seats an Option?

Heated Seats an Option?

Postby drock03 » Wed Sep 21, 2005 8:50 am

I'm in the market to pick up a Solara and after looking a 3 or 4 without heated seats I assumed this was not an option. I just talked to a lady on the phone with a 99 for sale and she swears she has heated seats...was this an option??? I know with Maxima's leather without heated seats means the leather was installed after the fact....and the quality is never as good...most of the time the color isn't even a match....

I have a SLE and I don't have heated seats, I think it must be an option because if you look in the fuse panel there's a spot for the fuse.

Screw heated seats, I want COOLED seats! Black leather in the hot Atlanta sun and I'm wishin' I had cloth!

I was wondering if you could take a duct from the floor vent and pipe it up to the crack in the back of the seat... (And have it look decent)

Heated seats? I was told I had all the options, they said the Trac Off button was one of the options that I needed for all of them. Interesting.

Anyone see the Pimp my ride? where ISH the upholstery guy put 12 volt fans inside a seat? That could be a cooled seat for you.
