Any brand regular will work fine. I use plus on a regular basis...and use premium once in a while.

I only use Chevron and Mobil (here on the west coast).

I use either Shell or Mobil. I try to stay away from amoco. My last car didn't respond to well to it. It would cause it to stall for some reason.

I have not seen that. In my moms old ES300 it wanted premium (89 octane or above) but i don't think the solara or camry needs it unless its modded. S/Ced solaras require atleast 89 octane

I've been told Hess is garbage. It is the cheapest gas around. I think your better off sticking with the name brands! However, I've noticed the same truck delivering to Hess and Mobil stations in my area! Hmm, makes you wonder dosen't it!

No it doesn't. It recommends...DOES NOT REQUIRE it. Premium should be utilized it for better performance but 87 regular octane is the requirement and will work perfectly fine. Please read it more carefully.

We do have texaco though. I'm guess they are the same company. Texaco and havoline are also associated, one owns the other.
