i finally got around to converting some more of the interior. now all is fully completed except the hvac unit and maybe tht small blue led tht controls my leds. check it out

What kind of bulbs did you use for your speedo? mine started to fade to orange/pink, so I have LED's on order, but I dont know how well they will look.

i used 194 blubs from autozone. ive only had em for today but there very bright. but keep me updated on the led project.

o btw is it even worth looking to change hvac unit on my 2000 solara?

Nice job. Must be soothing on the eyes when driving at night. Now just get some #74's for the gear indicator and you'll be set! Also change out the #74 behind CRUISE to red. Whenever I use cruise at night my pretty red on blue lighting scheme gets a rude shot of stock green.

theyre in a yellow and black packaging at Autozone...
i did my speedo over 2 yrs ago and its still going strong

Autozone has blue too, but i think the blue looks like crap
since it kinda turns blue/green? :roll:

man change em to red so they match ur car

but it takes time to change the blubs and undo all the screws and put em back in. the actual blubs have a green condom like thingy on a white blub so id guess if u take off the green rubber thing it would be white. same with the keyhole ring and cig lighter.

I tried to change mine out again...don't attempt LED's for the speedo. They look sweet for turn signal indicators, but for the Speedometer, it just comes out very blochy. I even tried the LED's that have multiple angles so it's not just a straight on LED, but they suck too. I am going to repaint my red bulbs to make them a deeper Red and then coat them with clear coat nail polish to try and hold the deep red, since they had previously faded...
