Whirring noise coming from motor?

Whirring noise coming from motor?

Postby Dutch Master » Tue Oct 25, 2005 10:10 am

Im getting a weird whirring sound from my timing belt area, I think its coming from there, its right next to the cams. Underneath what looks like a black cover with bolts on it.
ITs flush with the motor on the left hand side.....

It "whirs" at low speed then goes away......as I accellerate...

Any help would be appreciated...

*snicker* Is it the engine? I know that makes noise.

All kidding aside, make sure you don't have any loose pulleys or belts.

Anybody have a pic of an egine Scematic??

It starts after Im drivin for say 20 minutes.....
