:(
I installed a resistor in the system and it didn't change anything. The fan still runs on low speed only. Is there relays that control the fan and where are they?

Thanks for any help,
K

I replaced the resistor in the blower housing per suggestion on the net. This is the control for the speed on the fan. The resistor didn't help. I returned it to store. I don't know what the problem is

Help

Come on, you have to work with us a little here...

we need some more info:
When did this start?
Was there a problem before the resistor?
etc...

Yeah, and do you mean that when the fan speed setting is all the way up it's only a low output, or it seems to cut out after the second setting bar?

OK I will start from the begining. One day I got into the car and had the automatic temp control set on a temperature. I noticed the fan / blower indicator on the display was increasing but the fan was not increasing in speed. I look over the internet and several people had problems with fan speed and it was normally a resistor in the fan housing that caused the problem. I changed the resistor and this did not correct the problem. My fan/blower only runs at low speed and doesn't change when you turn it up.

I wounder if anyone has seen this problem befors and might have a good idea on how to fix it,

Thanks for any help.
