Yessir!! my friend got a TL not too long ago. A bit too voluminous for me, but the HIDs beam pattern is damn near perfect.

IMO (thats In My Opinion, meaning yours can differ from mine without either of our opinions being wrong) TSX owns the IS250, except its FWD instead of RWD. But that might be a good thing depending on who you ask. TSX is cheaper and has all options besides navi stock, IS250 doesnt even come with HIDs without a huge option package. it also has a bigger back seat, and weighs less.

2006 TSX got a HP boost, From 200bhp using the old SAE system to 206bhp using the new SAE system. Thats a real boost of about 15bhp.

Also gets some other goodies, like integrated bluetooth. and has what many enthusiasts consider the best 6spd manual next to the S2000's

haha...bluetooth owns. And I wouldnt need a headset if I had a 06 TSX. You keep the phone in your pocket, and you can access the phone through the steering wheel controls, call through voice dial and speak normally, and the radio automatically mutes out when you get or make a call, all without moving your hands from the wheel. You can make it autopair when your car's on too. We been using it with my friends TL, its pretty slick. Well not anymore, he got a V710 for himself, and the car dont play friendly with two different BT phones paired up to it.

Honda needs to learn to get the Honda badging off thier Acura's parts though. Back window is still branded "Honda," not sure about what else on there is Honda branded, but in the end its the complete package and price point that matters.

IS350 is better than any acura but thats my opinion, only reason i didnt say is350 is because it might be out of his price range.

I agree, but the IS250 has nothing on the TSX. IS250 is much slower, and is more expensive, and less well equiped. You can get a TSX fully loaded for under 30K.

IS350 is better than both..the engine is amazing, but your comparing a car you wont be able to find under 37K (Lexus pretty much requires a option package) to a car that you can get out the door for under 28K.

As far as Gen1 IS vs Gen2 IS (There is no gen2 Altezza!!! Its supposed to be the IS everywhere now, no?)..thats a personal choice. Gen2 is more "upscale" and less sporty. I like both, first gen for the kid in me and gen2 for the part of me thats growing up too fast, but objectively...I hate how the engine in the Gen1 eats gas like a mother. The 300+ hp IS350 sips less gass than the first IS. And i like the paddle shifters, so I can shift when I want to and not when I dont.

Anyways, back to topic. Good luck on the sale.

hahaha...

I'm glad my post was good for SOMETHING...my solara is pretty much sold, to a marine too... I gave him a good price just out of respect

yeah, the IS350 is really out of my range, in fact, even the TSX is a bit out of my range, since I'm gonna be paying the payments on this car, and I'm only 20...gonna support it by the drum lessons I give...

I was gonna get the RSX type-s, but insurance is higher, and I just don't see myself in that car 5 years from now...

anyway, TSX...here I come!!!!!

God bless y'all
