New driver door...............

New driver door...............

Postby SleeperSolara » Fri Nov 11, 2005 8:36 am

Well eva since i've gotten' my car back from the body shop the door kept saggin' like no other.
Well i took it back to the guy and had him adjust it up, and then it was perfect.
Then my friend leaned on it slighty; then it sagged again. :x
So i took it back to the same guy, adjusted it again.
Then dagged on it's own.
Well washed car 2 days ago, and saw a hair-line crack on the edge on the driver door near the fender, in the gap. :(
So took it yesterday, to same guy [very rep] to see what he could do.
Well all he could do was seal it up for the time being, and i would need to find a door to replace it.
All the previous guy did was fix it up, and not replaced it.
Can only repair and last so long, and still be saggin' like no other. :(
So the next body shop guy just repaired, it cause not part of repair check.
So that my story; was wonderin' were i can find a door in good condition.
The place here has 1 but sometimes they over charge like no other.
If anyone can do me a favor and look at he toyota yard in your area, and find a 2000 Toyota Solara DWP [would be great; if not ok], PM how much it is, and find shippin' to here in OKC 73112.
Thanks; if you reply or help out.

Yeah i know, but that the only way to not let the door sag anymore.
Cause i know the seal he put on the door is only goin' to last so long.
