grrr! traction stuck off

grrr! traction stuck off

Postby SolaraBlue » Sat Nov 26, 2005 9:50 pm

so ive figured out my car hates the winter! anyway. yesterday im driving and notice my "traction off" light is on so i push the button to turn it back on and nothing happens, so i turn the car off and back on and everything go's back to normal. then today i notice its on again, i turn the car off and back on and still the "traction off" light is on. anyone have this happen? im guessing its not normal for this to happen, anyone have any idea what it could be? my "check engine" light is also on so im guessing they have something to do with eachother.

thanks for any ideas/suggestion/help

I'm pretty sure it's your oxygen sensor, the same thing happened to me a few months ago. Go to auto zone or somewhere like that and get the codes read.

i also had that happen to me, nothing to worry about u can just get it cleared using a scan tool or you can do it the ghetto way by disconnecting ur battery for 5 mins.

The sensor from the dealer was $160-$170 I don't remember exactly.
I got it from the dealer so I could be sure it was the right one I needed, and I put it in myself.
