Postby Ragtop George » Thu Oct 03, 2002 12:13 pm

Does the Whiteline rear sway bar change the ride characteristics very much?

Thanks

George

just picked up my rear sway bar yesterday. i got the trd one used for 85 bux. pretty cool, the guy gave me instructions and a new little pouch of lube. pretty cool guy. cant wait to install it. he also told me to watch out when cornering when its raining. he said the car is more likely to oversteer, so watch out!

Has there been any easy resolution to the squeeking noise from the RSB after a few months? I spoke to Jswo a while ago and he sent me long explanation of what to do but I wanted to know if anything changed. Also does the whiteline have this problem

i could only torque the two bolts at the end. the other four, i just did with feeling, my torque wrench only goes down to 16, and they wanted 14, my brother just said do it w/ ur hand cuz he stripped a nut before w/ those exact same measurements. or just make sure you get one that can go low enough

Are you asking about a good price on a TRD front sway bar? If so, TRD does not offer one. The only one that I know of is the Whiteline front sway bar.

flipside would you recommend the fsb and rsb for daily driver or just one of them. I know my car pretty well, and i want to complement the upgraded springs and struts, however i never plan to take it on a road course. Any advice you could give me would be great.

imho, i think that you'll see added stability if you add the rsb. the front i would leave alone for now, and possibly upgrade later; the oem will suffice for now. get a rsb; it'll definitely compliment your already upgraded set-up even if it's just a daily driver.
