What is everyone hearing about the prospects of Toyota introducing a new Solara Convertible this spring? What can you tell me about it and what changes are forthcoming? Also, what is the date they are looking for introduction? Thanks.

Got this from a dealership on the internet -

"Coming in the fall of 2003, a new Solara.
The 2004 Toyota Camry Solara will be mechanically similar to the latest Camry sedan.
It is said to be a notchback coupe, not a fastback like the current model."

Only news to me is the new Fall date - thought it would be introduced this spring. :(

I don't know what it would look like. What car is an example of a notchback?

In the late 80's (and early 90's) Toyota made a Celica notchback also.
