What other engines could I drop into a 99 Solara that would require little modification? I would like to get a little more displacement for my car, I heard that the lexus sc300/400 engins would, is this true?

With "little modification", you could probably only drop in another 1MZ

if you wanted to drop in a 2JZGE motor, it would be better to just get a Soarer instead . . . especially since the 2JZGE motor is configured for a FR car and the 1MZFE is for a FF.
