for those of you that have done this mod, how noticable is the difference in handling?

Which one will be more affective, the strut tower bar or the RSB?

we already came std with strut tower bar, (unless you are s/c you needed the trdbar for clerance). I'd say RSB is by far "THE" mod for handling (even more so than lowering).

I dont think there is much of a difference but the TRD strut is mainly to clear the SC.. and yeah, it looks cooler.

Yeah it is mainly for the S/C clearance. . . the handling improvement is very minimal. . . Hey it looks damn good when you open the hood. . . 8) . . . If you want to improve handling. . . go get a TRD Rear Swaybar. . .Lower and struts. . . if you really want go hardcore get the Tein SS or JIC FLT-A1. . . if you want to go extreme get the JIC FLT-A2

it looks like the rsb is the way to go for me. I don't want to make the drive too rough, so i'll probably just get eibachs and call it a day.

I drive almost 30k miles a year. My ride quality needs to be a little forgiving haha.

take note that if you are not lowered yet, that your brackets where your bushings are wil take on a lot of stress

plus the TRD strut tower brace has been discontinued as with the SC. Hard to find...
Retired... its been fun Image

hahahaha wait you just said something that is doesnt make sense. . . You said you dont like a rough ride. . . so all your going to do is lower it?. . . That is the opposite way to go my friend. . . If your going to lower and have stock struts your going to be bouncing around. . . If you can't afford Tokico atleast get KYB it will keep you from having a harsh ride and smooth it out a lot and you will be taking those turns a lot better too. . . 8)

Dont worry about a rough ride, currently im running tokico struts, the TRD RSB (race setting), and the stock springs (little screw up with the aftermarket springs) and its not that rough. Dont get me wrong the boat feeling is mostly gone, and the car can take turns much better. I would do the struts before the springs, or save cash and do them at the same time. Trust me im looking at removing the rear interior for the third time and its not that exciting anymore.

B4 I switched to my Tein SS coilovers. I had the TRD RSB on stock suspension with my stock 15" alloy OEMs and dunlop tires. I took a 25mph corner(90° Turn) at 45mph. No squeal but the car tilt was insane but she held the ground with the RSB in race setting.
