What I found this morning

What I found this morning

Postby neo6205 » Sun Dec 11, 2005 8:37 pm

So this morning I was leaving a friends house after getting pissed off at some little slut and walked outside to find my car keyed the $hit out of. Im not talking like one scratch down the side but numerous lines from the front bumper, hood, down each side, and the trunk. I have an idea about who did it but the cop didnt seem to interested in busting them. He said he would talk to them on wed. but if he doesnt get anywhere its open game. These souless SOB's will pay.

Kind of a blessing in disguise though. Now I'll get an entire paint job for the $250 deductible. Kind of sucks to happen right now when Im strapped as it is for xmas.

Well, sorry to hear that happen... However, do keep in mind we live in the age of joyriders who randomly smash car windows (happened in my neighborhood), car bowling (taking older cars and ramming them into higher-classed cars at 40MPH), but I hope you nab whoever did it.

Well, you might not get the cops to do anything without solid proof of the culprit, but you can recover w/ Small Claims Court. It's <$50 to file in most states.
Since it's civil court you don't need a smoking gun. Just enough evidence to make the judge think it's more likely that they did the deed than not. So if you have friends that were witnesses to the fight, and the fact that the culprit knew where your car was, etc. then you'll come out on top. Sue for the whole paint job with the deductible going to you and the rest to your insurance co. That way they have to pony up the full amount. (better vengance!) Take lots of pics, start taping the people's court, and see who will go to court with you to testify. I've done it and it's not that tough to prevail.

Im sorry to hear that. Im sure youll find out who did it eventually. Kids talk. the person who did is bound to tell someone about it and it will make it back to you. If you got in an arguement with some girl recently. 99.9% she probably did it. Girls like to go for things guys love the most. If you want to fight fire with fire find out who did it and then set up all four sides of their car on blocks. Take all their wheels off and dispose of them right away. That costs just as much as your damanged. That perosn wont know what to do with themselves when they walk out in the morning and they dont have wheels.
