Just wanted to update y'all on the CAI discussion. Josh has done work on other cars and never seen more than 1-2 whp added by going cold on a natural induction intake. CP-e took heat measurements on the pipe when testing the heat shield. It really does the job. After three dyno runs the shielded side was cool enough to touch, the non-shielded pipe was too hot to grab. So even in the summer at a stop light, once you get rolling 10 mph, the air is fresh again. He says that the 3.5 inch pipe adds some hp, but the tuning did most of the work. So if you're debating between CAI and CP-e, I'm thinking CP-e wins if money's not an issue. Not sure what a CAI costs or how it sounds.
