I'm talkin' to 2 guys right now about some stock rims that are 17".
1 is an IS300 guy, and he's sent me pictures of the rims and all, and wants $500 shipped and only a minor curb rash, and less than 50% tread on the tires; talkin' to him to see how much shipped wit out tires.
The 2nd guy has some Gen2 rims and he only has 6k on the tires, and no curb rashes, and yes he is on this forum. He wants about $400 and he doesn't know what the shippin' is...............

So both of them will be about $500 somethin' range.
Which do you guys think looks better on my car.
Gettin' rims first then lowerin' it, cause don't want to be ridin' on 16's with the Greddy Evo midpipe makin' sparks when i hit bumps.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks.

gen2 got my vote. Please note i had fitment issues (front caliper clerance) on the IS300's on my i4 gen1. Even discount tire didn't know how to solve this (we tried 5&10MM spacers to see if it worked). For some darn reason, they worked perfect on my gen4 camry tho!

I vote for the Is300 wheels. I was thinking about doing that myself at one time. They look good. The rims are one of the reasons why I love that car so much. Here is a picture I found a long time ago on what it will look like. Remember these wheels have and offset set up for rwd cars so you will need spacers. I think all you need are 5mm spacers, but talk to mr. binks he has had them before.

I say Gen 2. I like the idea of staying with solara wheels of some sort or another.

Gen. 2 Solara wheels would be the better buy since they are almost new with no curb rash or nothing. Plus I just like the look of them better then the IS wheels.

Shipping will be about $80 to $100 bux.

I think that the gen2 wheels will give your car a more updated look than the is wheels.

Everybody seems to be for the gen2 wheels except the is300 wheels are winning the poll. You guys should leave your comments and vote. :-?
