I can only find wheels i like in a 20'' and i had not seen any post on here about how they would fit. If you have any pics of a gen 1 with 20''s i would greatly apreciate it.

unless you roll the fenders only 19" will fit the gen1, gen2's can fit 20's. and i find it hard to believe the only rims you can find that you like are 20's. you must me a rapper or youre not looking hard enough.

Maybe a 20x8 with a 40mm offset running tires no wider than 225 or 235. Search Miata Tire Calculator to calculate the tires you need to keep your speedometer accurate but don't go any wider than 8" wheel or 225/235 tire. Jon.

Welcome Brian.

I'll move this thread to Gen 1 Aftermarket upgrades.

Please feel free to start a new post in introductions to say "Hi", who you are and a little info on your ride. (Pics would be even better.)

Glad to have 'ya online.

briandayton - Gen 1 w/ 20s

Postby michaels artic frost » Mon Dec 19, 2005 6:26 am

I saw a local guy with a red Gen 1 rollin on some dubs last summer, even had a chance to chat w/ him, but since then I haven't seen him round town ne more. If I do, I'll try to get some pics.

Welcome and keep us posted on what you plan on doing.
Are you from the Dayton, OH area? If so, we could have a meet in the spring time or something.
