well i know that there are a couple of people, myself included, that are planning a project in the next couple of months. We are all trying to build up enough "resources" before attacking. I don't know that its been done in this forum yet specifically for HID's yet. Don't hesitate PM'ing me if you have any specific questions about HID's (ive got some installed) or cutting stuff up (attempted the grille...failed...) or fiberglassing (built some fiberglass enclosures)...

www.hidplanet.com
they sell entire kits. But I'd pick up Mark's TSX projectors first if I had the $$.
The 2 best projectors you will find are TSX and Valeo.
I'm also planning this retrofit, but as most of us, $$ is stopping me.

are there any members on the site that have done succesful conversions? I'd love to take on a project like this, but I think I'd need to see a writeup on it first.

The only member I've seen is TadS with a projector retrofit.

Dunno what projectors he used tho, I don't think they are Valeo's or TSX's tho.
And trdkamuri51o has a retrofit in his gen4 camry.

my best advice is to spend a few days reading up on www.hidplanet.com/forums

That's where I learned a lot of helpful tips.

Good luck!
